Innovative tenter frame dryer
Wednesday, 20. November 2013
At the beginning of August, van Clewe started operating their new dryer technology. The prototype had first been constructed in south Germany. It is a completely revised concept from the Brückner company.
It represents an important investment as there is a continually growing trend towards technical textiles and high-quality coatings, and most of all because it saves up to 30% of the energy used by previous dryers. Van Clewe is now the second company in Germany to operate an innovative machine of this type, of which at the moment, there are only four others in the world.
This machine represents another significant investment in the van Clewe factory in order to combat the problem of constantly rising energy costs and to meet our corporate responsibilities in relation to the environment.
